Blake R. Bauman is a member of the Firm's Real Estate Section. Mr. Bauman focuses his practice on development, land use and entitlements, acquisitions and dispositions of property, leasing, and financing of office, retail, multi-family and other properties. Mr. Bauman also has experience assisting clients with business formation and planning, joint ventures, and other general corporate matters.

Members of the Ray Quinney & Nebeker's Women Lawyers Group volunteered on December 20 at Candy Cane Corner. They spent several hours cleaning and organizing the store by sorting books, crafts, toys, and clothing, as well as organizing winter wear items such as hats and gloves for adults, children and babies.
Ray Quinney & Nebeker is a proud sponsor of a Homeless Outreach Service Project (HOST) donation meter. The donation meters, brightly-colored refurbished parking meters placed on downtown sidewalks, give pedestrians an effective and compassionate alternative to handing out money to homeless individuals. Meter sponsorships and collections go to the Pamela J. Atkinson Foundation for disbursement to service providers who specialize in outreach to the homeless. The RQ&N sponsored meter is located in front of the firm's offices at 36 South State Street in downtown Salt Lake City.
Eric G. Benson, Associate, joins RQ&N's Litigation Section, and will practice within the firm's White Collar Criminal Defense and Corporate Compliance Practice Group. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Benson served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Utah where he prosecuted a wide variety of criminal cases, including wire fraud, mail fraud, violent crimes, drug crimes and immigration cases. A Florida state jury in Szymanski v. Philip Morris USA, et al. returned a defense verdict on October 20 in the first Engle-progeny case tried in Lee County, Florida. Walt Cofer of Shook Hardy & Bacon and Kamie F. Brown of Ray Quinney & Nebeker tried the case on behalf of Philip Morris USA.
