Rick B. Hoggard

Mr. Hoggard is a registered patent attorney whose practice is primarily devoted to patent and other complex commercial litigation. Mr. Hoggard's patent litigation experience involves medical devices, pharmaceuticals and nutritional supplements, biomedical, software, electronic devices and a variety of other products and services. Mr. Hoggard's practice also includes patent licensing and counseling, lender liability litigation, and general commercial litigation.
Mr. Hoggard has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America, currently in the areas of Litigation, Litigation – Intellectual Property, and Patent and Patent Law. He maintains an AV Preeminent (5.0) rating with Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating awarded to attorneys for professional competence and ethics. Mr. Hoggard also serves on the Firm's internal ethics committee and has been appointed by the Utah Supreme Court to the Ethics and Discipline Committee for the last six years, and is currently serving as Vice-Chair of one of its Screening Panels.
